Week 35

These last few weeks welcomed lasting memories and an evident growth spurt!

• Steak and potatoes was on the menu proving the adage like father like son
• A french themed bebe shower was hosted by wonderful friends 
• Major enjoyed a new resting place
• Grocery shopping solidified the eminence of your due date  

Week 32

Eight months pregnant. Phew! 

• French macaroons and pineapple basil sorbet have are on the most-wanted list
• Nursery projects are in full swing with a gallery wall going up and stuffed animals joining the crib
• My fuzzy slippers are officially the prefect antidote to pregnant feet
• My favorite pre-pregnancy dress has become a maternity "top"!  

Week 31 Letter to Baby

You're a mystery to us- face unseen, personality yet to be discovered.  Your triumphant, rhythmic movements have become the backdrop to my day {and night!} and with them, I cling to the clues of who you are growing to be.

With each passing day, the excitement to meet you grows. We can't wait to hold you and love you endlessly. Today marks two months until your due date and with that milestone in sight, we have officially begun a countdown.

Christmas 2012

It seems the more pregnant I become, the less photos I manage to snap. Case in point, Christmas.  I guess we were all too busy enjoying wonderful company, relaxing with a fire and good food.

We did get one of Major enjoying his new favorite toy, tizzy. He hasn't stopped playing with it since Christmas morning.

Week 30: Water Baby

This week, with some prompting from Mat, I discovered swimming to be the most relaxing and wonderful prenatal workout. Hopefully one day, our little guy will be a water baby like his daddy.

Meet Jeffrey

The newest addition to our nursery is a large, stuffed giraffe that Mat named Jeffrey.  We just hope our little guy likes him half as much as Major does!
